The first sequel was Sometimes They Come Back Again, and I can't remember the other one's name, but it was so far from the original story as to be a rip-off of The Thing.... does anybody remember the name? All those bad B and C movie babies running around out there of Mr. King's work...

The original was a favorite of mine when I first saw it wround 13-14 years old. Even todays, I think it still has it's charms and holds up okay, especially considering it was made for the USA network in the early 90's.

I never even realized they did more but judging from the reviews it doesn't appear that I'm missing anything lol

The first one wasn't too bad. It could have been better though. Haven't seen the sequels cause to me they don't have anything to do with Mr. King and are most likely quite bad.

I loved the very first one.
I'm reading Double Feature, by his son, and according to his son's standards I don't think even his dad's movies would hold up to the expectations. Or at least his character's standards. He was awfully harsh in the beginning of the book, in the section titled '2002.'
Thankfully for the author Kelly's his wife. If not for that I would have given up before I gave it a chance.
Those two write their books totally different from the way most are written, which is a good thing; it's just that if you didn't know it ahead of time, you might give up before the story happens.

I've never read this one. The first time I saw the name of this folder I thought it was referring to members of the SKMB. Sometimes they disappear for a while like me. Sometimes they come back.

Saw this yesterday, and it's pretty dated now.
Can't say I was impressed by the main character,in that he wasn't prepared to do or say anything, for a LONG time throughout the film..

Maybe they should finish this franchise with a final movie,in which the teacher buys a Nuclear Warhead, and call it "Sometimes They NEVER Come Back"
