batman 1960's where Batman is hanging from a helicopter and a shark jumps up and grabs his leg but he has 'anti-shark' spray on his utility belt.

No he didn't! He'd forgotten it and robin had to lower it down to him! Now that's a wing man!

When Batman finds out the Russian hottie he'd been trading spit with, Miss Kitka, was really The Catwoman, I always tear up! Tear up, I go on a cryin' jag! Poor Batman! When you've loved & lost like me, Sinatra, and Batman, you know ....

I watched the Godzilla(2014) last night. I also started watching an Alfred Hitchcock movie but started to get a headache, I watch finish that and either watch Repo Man, Escape from New York and maybe some Christine to watch Harry Dean Stanton.

Got my Harry Dean fix the other day with ol Cool Hand Luke. Good stuff. Like cool ranch dressing on a hot summer day (all proceeds of said dressing go to charity).

First They Killed My Father
based on the memoir by Loung Ung; directed by Angelina Jolie. Very difficult to watch the memories of a Cambodian child under the oppression of the Khmer Rouge. Huge history lesson for me. The child actors are astonishing in their believability, and the cinematography of the landscape breathtaking.

mother! - pretentious tosh masquerading as a horror film: Darren Aronofsy wastes girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence in one-note performance while making some inscrutable point to himself but not the audience. The Emperor's New Clothes are on show.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle - enjoyable sequel, as over-sweary as its predecessor.

I Was a Teenage Moviemaker
(Amazon Prime)

I had never heard of Don Glut until I watched this last night, but this is one of the most interesting documentaries (?) I've seen. The creativity and imagination of Don and his friends when they were in their early to late teens (in the 1950s, no less) is absolutely fascinating.
I lost count of how many times I said "Wow!" out loud (which is not something I usually do).
The film left me wondering how this guy didn't turn out to be one of the best directors in the business.

How about that...me too.
And I agree with everything you said.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes. A rewatch of the great opening of the trilogy (Dawn and War are the two others. Then i saw Tim Burtons version of the original story (from 2001). Not so very good. Mark Wahlberg is as wooden as usual in the lead and i actually prefer Helena Bonham Carter as human rather than in Apegear. Does it somehow show that i'm not very imptessed with Wahlbergs acting qualities??

Gimme Shelter (1970). The Stones. Altamont. Hell's Angels. You know the story. I love when Keef goes, That cat there, if he doesn't STOP it, man...

Some great tunes, from the greatest rock band of all time. Got my DVR fulla some great sixties concert flicks. Next up, Monterey Pop. You know, when Jimi lit his guitar on fire? Oh yeah.

Holy crap, I hear cats fighting in the woods outside...if that cat THERE doesn't stop it, man...
