I have tried to look through the posts, but haven't been able to find a definitive answer. Are the Dark Tower Comics over after The Sailor, or are there more in the works? My apologies if this is posted in the wrong area, it was the only place I could find to post. I'm sure this is a dumb question coming from someone who purports to be an SK fan, but any help is appreciated. My thanks in advance...

I've just moved your thread into the Marvel Comics forum, (it's a sub-forum in the Dark Tower Novels area of the MB) and will alert Moderator to your question.

....I've been curious as well.....it was left hanging that it would continue, but no news yet....I have all of them to date and have truly enjoyed the extension of the canon....

Indeed,,, I have every single comic from the series, one shots, variant covers, signed book plates, etc., but I am waiting on the edge of my seat for more. I have the revised complete concordance by Robin Furth and the eight Dark Tower Novels as well. I truly enjoy the material and get lost in Roland's world, masterfully imagined by sai King. Oddly enough, the Dark Tower comics are the only comics I have ever owned. I sure hope they keep them coming... I suppose there will be additional material if God wills it, Ka is a wheel and so on. Glad to hear I'm not the only grown up with a complete set of comics. Thankee sai, for the response.

I keep going into my comics store and asking what they've set aside for me and there hasn't been anything DT related for a while now.
Would you happen to have any information regarding why the illustrators kept changing throughout the comics/graphic novels? I know everyone has their own preference when it comes to illustrations, but for me around The Drawing of the Three the graphics changed quite drastically, and I honestly prefer the style of the earlier ones. Then The Sailor seemed to be attempting to go back to the earlier style. Perhaps I am alone in this, but I would truly appreciate any information, opinions, or thoughts on the matter. Thanks in advance folken.

Robin Furth responded to a question about this at the end of October:

No word yet, sai! So sorry!!!!

I believe that the illustrators were all under contract for a certain amount of time as they all have other projects that they work on.

....I have seen absolutely no updates....after finishing the last arc months and months ago, I was left with the impression they would be carrying it on-but no dates or plans were laid out....seems like maybe the movie adaptation de-railed things for awhile....

Okay folks, here's the latest update with the comics.

Short version: a new publisher nabbed the rights from Marvel and will re-print all editions previously done by the House of Spidey. Although not explicitly stated, I guess if the re-prints sell well enough, we'll see the continuing adventures of Roland & Co. in graphic format.

...sweet baby Jeebus!....sounds like a colossal screw-up waiting to happen.....

Seriously, this is the death knell of the series then. Not many people are going to buy reprints when we've been waiting for them to continue the story.
