Nope, no suspense

#4 The Creek won and it goes on the front of the book and somewhere inside too. #2 Pink Rose and #1 Pinecone was given 'honourable mention (whatever that is) and both will be somewhere in the book. #3 Purple, I disqualified it myself. I had taken that in Vancouver and only local pictures could be submitted. Not sure what all of you see in #4, I think it is the worst of all of them, I am missing something when I look at it I guess. Thanks for your opinions, ALL are appreciated. May re think making up some note cards to sell....
Sorry - guess I am impatient - I did see something nice in # 4 but I still like the pine cone one - it would make a great Christmas card!

The wonderful, kind, amazing quilter in Alaska not only fixed the seams that I managed to split, but also quilted and bound it.

And the whole time, this wonderful spirit was complimenting my work even as she fixed it. She said that she's known people who have been quilting for years that couldn't nail the applique like my letters. Such an angel! I'm forever grateful.

So happy for you that she was able to save it! It came out fantastic--a great team effort.

Very kind.

She saved more than my quilt. She restored my faith in humanity and helped me decide to keep trying this quilting thing.

Good for her - I saw a nice quilt on a TV show today (I actually paused it). It's all granny squares but they made a nice pattern, like a quilt. - Makes me want to take up my yarn and hook again.
