Ah, another compliment/insult on a Stephen King adaptation! If you read my post about IT & a reissue, you probably know what complaints I have, feel free to reply! If not, here's my complaint. From the research I did on a reissue, they exist, just no bonus features. In the 1999 DVD copy I have, it has a Wide screen & Full Screen option (two-sided disc), original trailer, scene access, & subtitle options. For the transfer itself, my copy has some film grains & hairs here & there. I'd personally prefer to see more condiments added to this burger, like:
  • The original work-print (includes extra few scenes, nothing shaking the outcome, apparently)
  • Any alternate/deleted scenes
  • A slideshow of Creepshow ads/memorabilia (think UHF DVD release :) )
  • Commentary by (mostly) King & Romero, maybe Joe Hill, & whoever else they can get to comment on their segments.
  • A 'Making-Of' Documentary *cough* SHINING *cough*, if footage exists
Any other thoughts or ideas? I'd love to hear, & I feel that it's about time this flick gets justice!

Actually I'd like to hear from Tom Savini (he cracks me up) and from Joe too. People always get a kick out of seeing child actors all grown up. If there's any old footage from Leslie, Ted, Dan...that would be awesome too. I'd also like to see deleted scenes.
