I was not enjoying it at all until about midway through. Still not a patch on the SK story, but a satisfying second half made it a worthwhile looksy.

I thought it was pretty decent, and it involved me enough,to really be on the edge of my seat,on wondering what she was going to do,and where her husband was.

There was one thing that I wasn't entirely convinced with, and avoiding spoilers, let's just say Coroner's report and cause of death !?!

Well yet again I will eat a little crow. I complained about the casting choices before seeing it and stated that I wasn't really interested in seeing it. I did finally see it a couple weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by the actors and how faithful it was to the book. I enjoyed it. One minor gripe though....I HATED the Holt Ramsey character in the movie. In the book he and Darcy have a mutual, somewhat conspiratorial interaction because he knows and she knows that he knows. Kind of a wink, wink sort of thing and he obviously approves and views her as a brave woman. In the movie when he starts yelling at her about how she is guilty and he was going to bust her I got annoyed. Don't understand the need to change that but it messed up a great character from the book.
