GENTLEMAN JACK

I've just started this, anyone else watching the series? Thoughts? I think it's going to be fascinating.

Apparently this is based on a real woman. I'll let Wiki inform ya'all.

This started off slow for me. But, this weekend, I did a run and gun and it's quite good. Not action packed, more a simple character study of a person as she navigates through her world.

Suranne Jones is so good in this. So believable in the character. She is a clever lesbian trying to make her way in a very stuffy world, and she does it so well and with style. The ensemble cast around her are perfect too.

She was in Dr. Foster and she was brilliant in that also.

First season wrapped up. It was mildly entertaining. Different. I'll stick around for a second season, but I can't imagine it having more life than that.
