    DVD/Blu-Ray Features/Opinions

I just found a $25 store gift card, and the store has a few $25 combo-packs (Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital) of the new 'Carrie'. After some research, it seems that, aside from a director's cut, the discs include deleted scenes, that Coffee Shop Promo clip that was on YouTube, bonus on Telekinesis, etc...

    Amazing Illustrations

I read this book two years ago, and wow! Those illustrations were AMAZING! I feel that, even if I hated the story line and flipped through the book for the pictures, they would make me read it to find out the context! Good choice, Mr. King!

    Official Download Page

Not meant for discussing the book (I'm only 14 pages in, don't ruin it!), just passing by and saving others the problems I faced looking for this book (thanks again, Ms Mod!). The Adobe PDF files are available here on SKing's official website: StephenKing.com - Plant: Zenith Rising, The I'm...

    S.K. Autobiography

Anyone know if Mr. King's ever considered writing an autobiography? Heck, he could even do what Keith Richards, Ozzy Osbourne, and many other celebs are doing-hire someone to write your autobiography! Still probably would sell enough to get on the NYTimes best seller list!

    SIGNED Hardcover

You can never say that !redruM is a liar! Like I said/posted (a few month ago, oopps!), I have an Ex-Library rental of 'Salem's Lot. Here's the pics as thumbnails (had to crop them so they would fit), followed by the exact post.

    'The Office' Questions

I recently got on the Office web app on the King website for the first time in a while, & it still says something along the lines of 'Expanding in progress...Expected to continue late 2010!' So what's up, StephenKing.com staff? I love this interactive site & forum, but is the Office going to be...

    Bruce Springsteen

Hey all! Just got the Boss' new CD, 'High Hopes,' in the mail yesterday! It was the Amazon.com exclusive 2-disc set (Original CD & a DVD of a 2013 full 'Born in the USA' performance at London). I was listening to it today & started noticing how Morello's guitar playing doesn't always fit into my...

    Thoughts on A DVD/Blu-Ray Reissue

Ah, another compliment/insult on a Stephen King adaptation! If you read my post about IT & a reissue, you probably know what complaints I have, feel free to reply! If not, here's my complaint. From the research I did on a reissue, they exist, just no bonus features. In the 1999 DVD copy I have...

    2013 Vs 1976 Comparison

Recently I watched the 2013 remake for the first time, and I must admit, it was good! Special Effects were great, most of the acting was good, and they added things to update this SK Milestone! As for the '76 original, I saw part of it on TV immediately after I finished watching the 2013 one...

    1980s Pop Culture

Listening to Talking Heads' 'Burning Down the House' and am remembering the video-mainly the flames projected on the side of the house and cast of characters in Talking Heads attire. So here's my question-can you share 1980s pop culture with me? Puuuuhhhh-llllleeeeaaaaassssseeeee??? ;)

    Thoughts & Opinions

I watched the Dead Zone for the first time this previous Monday or Tuesday. I was eager to see it for two reasons-Stephen King adaptation, and, equally as important, CHRISTOPHER WALKEN. I felt that all in all, it was an amazing film. I have not read the book, but based off of the film, I'd say...

    No Coke, Pepsi!

This is the game of opposites, No Coke, Pepsi!/The Opposites Game. Taken from a classic early Saturday Night Live skit, the game goes as such: PERSON 1: Can I have a Coke, please? PERSON 2: No Coke, Pepsi. Can I get a hamburger? Etc. So I'll start! Can I have a Walkman?

    Possibility of A DVD/Blu-Ray Reissue

Hello all! As you all may know, IT was released in, I think 2002, on a double-sided DVD, with its only 'Bonus Feature' being an interactive (i.e. scene selection/play movie) menu, commentary, & subtitles, fairly basic. But now-12 years later, don't you think they could make (Warner Bros.) a...

    Is It Worth The Price?

Hello all! I've seen this online, usually used, and cheap (add shipping, might as well buy it new!) I've read about it (SK wrote and there's photos of gargoyles?) So now, I trust all of you, is it worth the investment?

    The Rolling Stones

Hey everyone! This is just a thread to discuss the self-proclaimed (and rightfully!) 'Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World'! A few rules: Be respectful of others' opinions-DON'T 'SHOUT' AT THEM! ;) Keep it clean! Refer to songs like 'Starf***' as 'Star Star,' aka their clean names. Don't...

    Favorite Segment/element...

I find this to be a great Stephen King film, paying tribute to (one of) Stephen's inspirations, 1950s comic books, Tales from the Crypt, the most obvious being payed tribute to. I enjoyed those 'animated' comic transition and comic-scenes, featured very prominently, and the acting is great...

    Ramones & Pet Sematary

Not too sure if this is the right word for the self-titled tune, but the Ramones recorded a track, 'Pet Semetary,' for this film. In case you forgot where in the movie it can be heard, it's at the end credits if I recall correctly. Can't post a link to the YouTube vid yet, but I'll try soon...
