I've been putting off reading classic novels for years because they sound good but I don't want to be confused by the language.
These are the books I've been thinking of getting..
a Tale of two Cities
Great Expectations
Frankenstien
Picture of Dorian gray
I was kind of put off by classics...
which ones have you read?
I think I've only read Dracula and the Inferno and I'm thinking about getting Fankenstein. Maybe Picture of Dorian grey.
what are some other good ones?
Brent easton Ellis or Chuck Palahniuk?
what do I buy fight club or rules of attraction? I've already read less than zero and liked it a lot but I've never read fight club. but I've seen the movie and liked it a lot.
If you have read either writer witch do you prefer?
The story is good but I hate the way they talk.
Ralph was an ass to piggy throughout the book It really bothered me. Actually they were all pretty mean to piggy.
I also hated the word ass-mar.
I remembered another one. Number the Stars by Louis Lowery
Never read any of those FlakeNoir I've always wanted to read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest though.
There good for grown ups too..
what are your favorites.
mine are
The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books-Tolkien (don't really know if that counts as young adult)
The Outsiders and That was Then this is Now S.E. Hinton
The Catcher in the Rye-J.D. Salinger
