I'm really enjoying it. I'm liking the title story more than I thought I would, it's making me want to read the Hodges books I missed (Finder's Keepers, End of Watch). The Life of Chuck started well, ended well, but kind of sagged in the middle. One more tale to go.

Well hopefully it can get organized. I don't know, I liked the way the older stories had each author's unique voice to their segments, but I also liked how the story a few years back was so consistent. I'd like to think there would be a nice in-between, might be easier on the editor as well.

Absolutely this. One thing about The Stand is that it isn't really about the ending. The book is about the characters and what happens to them on the way.
