You break it, you buy it. That'll be $132,000.

Hahahaha. I really need to work on my paranoia. Hahaha.

When parents bring their kids in stores like that, it's time to tell them, "Put your hands in your pockets and your pockets in your pants!" That's what my mom always told us.

Just wanting to share my experience........

I so love your comment. And good for you to cry--it's important. It cleanses our soul and helps us heal even things we don't know that need to be healed. Welcome, also!

Got to the ending((May Have spoilers))

I so loved this book. It may be my second favorite SK book of all time--that's how much I liked it. I really loved that King went beyond the basic plot and had these subplots that coexisted until they all culminated in the end. This was so different from any other SK book I have ever read that...

    Brady Hartsfield Appreciation Post

The casting was outstanding all the way around. Some was surprising but I understood many of the changes they made.

Re: Mercedes Man (I wonder whom...............needs Lexapro)

It's amazing how people can have such diametrically opposed views on books. I absolutely loved Mr. Mercedes. That's the magic of books (for me anyway). We live in reality--can't we read about situations that might not exist in our reality? But I appreciate your opinion even though I don't agree...

    Ending (spoilers obviously)

I really like that one too but I like the one he went with better. I loved that they danced together one last time. . .

    Ending (spoilers obviously)

I think it might be my favorite too--although I find it hard to have one favorite. It's right up there. I loved every aspect of it and it was so much fun to take a stroll in 1958 and the early sixties. I could really imagine life then through the lens of SK's masterful writing. That's the thing...

Would like to reintroduce myself (been gone a long time)

I'm so sorry to have delayed this response to you. First welcome to the board. This is an amazing place with very fine folks--very accepting people who have always shown me kindness. I'm so sorry you suffer from depression. I struggle with this still--and I believe I will throughout my life...

Show of Hands - 11/22/63 SPOILERS

Absolutely. I have learned a lot from Stephen King and I have much more to learn but On Writing is sitting right next to me as I work on the second in my Montana Wylde series. I cannot tell you how many times I have referred to that book. I will never be the writer Stephen King is but he...

Show of Hands - 11/22/63 SPOILERS

I cried when Sadie died. And I cried again when Jake was figuring things out at the end. Jakes is one of my favorite good guys. That book just blew me away. It was when I realized that King was not just a great author but a great genius. And he keeps surprising his readers all the time. He's...

    What about The Stand 2017

Oh that is even more awesome. I always thought it needed a good long series. I thought it was a great idea to do Mr. Mercedes as a series instead of a movie.
