This is a very, very good point--I'm not going to sell it, you're right about that. I just wanted it to be real for my children (and potential grandchildren)...but I do have a genuine copy signed copy of SB now, at least. Beautifully stated though--thank you

It does look pretty close....who knows. Maybe my kids or grandkids can sell it for enough to recover what I spent on the book someday.. until then, I'll cherish it for the meaning it holds.

My book is indeed signed in blue pen.. Still wonder whether or not it is real.. But The King himself thinks not, so not sure what to think..

Watching the King's trade barbs and tease each other was the price of admission--they are both hilarious, and you can just see the deep love and respect in Owen's eyes. Steve is just as sweet and charming as I imagined him--a really, really nice person. Loved every second of it!

One last note that I'll have to check.. Steve mentioned tonight his preference for blue pens--and the pic I have of the signing, he is using a blue pen, but I believe the copy I have might be signed in black, but ill double check when I'm home.. that would definitely put the issue to bed...

Well, I just view it as a life lesson--never again on Ebay--never, with signatures. And the Good Lord blessed me with a second chance to get an authentic autograph that cannot be disputed tonight. I appreciate your kind words--but in the end, what more can I do than move on...I'm just glad that...

Well.. I loved my wife a ton, but love her even more so tonight.. I struck out and had a sinking feeling..until she showed me her signed copy :) More importantly, the event was AWESOME--Owen and his dear old Dad were hilarious, charming... and it was just great!

I compared the two sigs--for what it's worth-- I don't know what to think.. I wish I could know for sure...

Got here over 2 hours before the doors for Missoula and already a lineup--speaks to the impact of Uncle Steve in all of our lives... I am praying for a signed copy.. Please may the mighty KA, Turtle etc make it so!
