That face in the corner definitely gave me the creeps. I liked how for most of the story the reader is wondering whether it's her mind or something supernatural but then it turns out to be real.

    Really enjoyed it

I started reading SK when his early stuff first came out, I missed a lot of the books in the middle & have since been reading his newer work. I hadn't read Gerald's Game before and I found it scary and suspenseful. The amount of tension built up for a sip of water was so well done that I...

What Movie or Series Are You Watching?

After binge watching all 8 seasons of Dexter I was wondering what to watch next and came across 12 Monkeys. I started to watch it as a time filler and got hooked and binge watched the first 2 seasons. Season 3 starting soon :)

My latest SK read is Insomnia. While I've been a fan for many years I'm not necessarily the most avid fan but I do enjoy most of his work. I hadn't heard of Insomnia and found it by chance at a 2nd hand book fair. I loved it, I think it's might even be in my top 5 SK books. If you haven't read...

    Back again

Haven't heard that before. I used to work in a handbag shop & started off on-line as Baglady then I got lazy, couldn't even bother using a capital letter.

Thanks everyone nice to feel welcome. It seems like Randall is living up to his name, he's a bit of a loner & when he flies in the other crows back off as he struts around, definitely the Walkin' Dude.

I'm one of those people that drop in for a while then go before I outstay my welcome hope everyone is well. Since my last visit I've been empanelled on a jury, had an operation, sold a house, bought a new house. In our new neighborhood we get a lot of crows, there's a murder almost every...

    GNTLGNT the wise

My published work is a collection of short stories in the paranormal/crime genre (see above) Currently I'm working on a novel that I would classify as speculative fiction, it contains post-apocalyptic, fantasy & steam-punk elements.

    GNTLGNT the wise

Just want to thank GNTLGNT publically for his wise advice on handling public speaking. Had my first book launch today and his advice helped me immensely. It was a small gathering but still nerve-wracking for me & I really wasn't sure what to say, he suggested I be myself and talk about how the...
