I don't believe in ghosts. I do believe in demons. And when I was younger and much more foolish I occasionally did some ghost searching - going to places people said things happened at, staying in a room people said was haunted. Never experienced anything doing that. But let me tell you, if I got a talk like the one Olin gave at the beginning of this story you wouldn't be able to get me into that room. I'd be out of there.

No comparison to the book but not a bad movie either. Welcome and enjoy!
Yeah I usually don't watch movies of books until after I read them, if at all, because I hate when the images conjured in my mind by the book are replaced by the ones in a movie. That said, I didnt know until the credits announced it, that it was a King story. But man that was the best supernatural thriller /horror movie I've seen in years!

Figured I would read this story as soon as I acquired Everything's Eventual from my library. I have no idea how this bonkers amazing short story was even made into a movie, let alone an apparently good one.

that dollhouse at the end of the street
It was and still is one of my most favorite adaptions ! I don't generally go to twitter but have recently and ran into John Cusack there, he'd posted something about 'Moloch' (purported evil creature) but the article was presumably about guns, so I fangirled out, went over there , and replied that Moloch scares the Hell out of me but I was a Huge Stephen King fan and that he was Mindblowing in room 1408 and that I visit him there again and again, and Thanked him for Always being there, and then, I left him with this most deserving tribute, and a big red :love_heart: and he Definetley Watched it! also , immediately following me, he retweeted something Stephen had just posted .... twice! How sweet was that?!!!! It was this aweseome tribute I will leave it here in the 1408 thread. :ghost:

This story was painful for me to read. I couldn't get through it for some reason so I resorted to the audio to complete it. Also, Riding the bullet was about 20 minutes too long.
