I am so impressed with the sheer quality of all who contributed to this year's story. Just awesome the SKMB members that were characters in the story. I am a bit sad to realize that this will be the last one of SKMB. Kudos to all. You guys and gals hit this one out of the ballpark for sure. !!

I wanted to read the whole story before commenting, I'm just blown away.

To all the writers, this story is one of the best things to ever come from the collective soul of the SKMB. It has everything a true member of the SKMB could hope for, it's all just....there. The humor, the story line, the settings, and OH THE CHARACTERS!....LOL. This is a story that, if we could put it in a time capsule and bury it for the ages, we could all be proud of how entertained, and probably a bit confused, the finders of this wonderful memento would be upon reading it. You all deserve so much credit for the all the great details, the weirdness, the humor, and just the out and out SKMB-NESS of the the whole project. Thank you all for standing true and telling a tale we can all be proud of. This place brings out the best of us and makes us one from many. DJ, Flake, all the authors, you did real good. We say thank ya.

"By God, Woodrow; it's been one hell of a party."

I have just had a horrible a-ha moment.

This last Kon is AFTER Marsha retires. We won't get to see any pictures. I am truly bummed.

1) Then you must get your poop together and come to Dodge!!!

2) Pictures can be posted on the Playground, so hop your little tuckus over there and get signed up. I double-dog dare ya!!! :biggrin2:

Been very busy this month unfortunately, so I have not had time to read all parts of the story yet (aside from first two). I hope to get to a lot of it this evening (best day to do it!). But I wanted to quickly mention that what I have read so far is excellent, seriously. I like the direction it is going in given this is the final iteration of the SKMB Halloween collaboration.

And I wanted to mention I am honored to have been mentioned in the story as well, thanks. That aspect of member mentions is a cool device I could not have predicted.

Probably will have to download the .pdf as a whole or the separate ones (assume there will be an omnibus edition, but no big deal on that). Also, I cannot like the parts because of that overflow error (another browser type eliminates that, but unfortunately the main browser I use is the one in which I am logged). But I do like the story...

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, I really enjoyed taking part and I think the Story turned out great, a fitting last "Official" SKMB Story.
Gazman- I didn't make it to the board in time last week to gush over you!! Your addition to the story was fantastic - I absolutely loved it - what a twist!! And very much reminds me of the
that twisty restart in our Dark Tower journey
. I could almost hear 80's horror movie techno music at the end.

I was so sad when this collaboration ended. What I didn't expect was the after hours privileges of the Story Forum! It was written with much heart from everyone - we did our very best to include everyone. Hoping it calls some home before the lights go out for good.

I read the story finally. Thanks for the PDF's as I still get that overlap on this site. Great! I loved it! I liked the throwback to the movie 'Johnny Dangerously' ("Fargin' Bastages!"). Good of you to incorporate members names into the story. Thanks to all those involved, it was a hoot, mal
We should find John Coffey, maybe he could cure your overlap. :)
