I liked Lisey's Story on subsequent readings better than the first time. I think for me, it's just such a painful book.

Pain from the past in Scott's childhood, pain when he dies, pain in the present of the story... I know that love is the underlier, but dang!

However, I will gladly re-read any and all and chat on here with you crazy lot as directed!

Can`t remember that but i think this is a translation thing.

I think it's a twist on a nursery rhyme. Maybe lost in translation.

I read Desperation first and didn't enjoy The Regulators as much. The first 100 pages of Desperation just hit you.
