We watched the original one (did not know there was more than one) at Robert Gray 's house with him and his lovely wife Rachael during the King Kon 2018.

I enjoyed the movie overall and it was cool seeing it on a big screen.

By the way, I just wanted to say Robert Gray - you and your wife are the most accommodating and generous couple I have ever met. You opened up your house and your hearts to us.

If you ever want to come to Winnipeg you are very welcome to stay with us. You have a lovely home and we enjoyed our time there so much.

Thanks again for the hospitality - I have been thinking about you two a lot lately. I wish we had had more time to get to know you better but it was such a whirlwind weekend.

Love and Green Lights to you both. :love_heart::cheerful:

Parts of it are laughably bad; vending machine death, this machine called me an *sshole, etc.. But the actual plot dragged on, I wish there were more non-vehicle related deaths.
Do you mean, like other machines or like people doing the killing? The original short story was called Trucks. Most of the other machine action in the movie was added, ie: not by King.

Yes I know the original short story had only trucks, but the movie tried to expand more on the idea of other appliances. I mean death by machines other than vehicles, because besides the vending machine (great scene) and the video game cabinets (kind of on the lamer side) all the other non-vehicle deaths were off screen (I.e. people being choked by their walkmans or the dog with the rc car in his mouth). I would like to see a toaster or a weed wacker rack up some kills.
