I could go on and on about what I liked, loved, and adored about this novel, from the writing style to the character developments. However, I have no doubt that my sentiments have been said numerous times by a multitude of adoring fans, and I will spare you as much redundancy as I can. What I truly wish to convey is my appreciation, elation, for the care that was taken in the choosing of a narrator for Doctor Sleep.

Due to my job I have little time to read, but plenty of time to listen. On numerous occasions I have had to abandon my hopes of listening to a novel because of lackluster narrations. The choice of Will Patton to narrate Doctor Sleep was a stroke of genius. A good book narrated poorly becomes trash, but a great book narrated brilliantly becomes extraordinary. This audiobook was just that. This novel was just that. Extraordinary.

Thank you, Sir.

Sincerely,
Jordan St. John of Fowlerville, MI

Welcome Jordan and thanks for the tip on the audio version of Doctor Sleep, I always read first but then re-read with audiobooks!

My pleasure, since they are all I have time for I'll be sure to comment on any and all that I do listen to, just for you!

um - actually I said "precocious" pre-ko-shus, not precious!
But you do look kinda:m_smooth: precious, now that you mention it! :rub::m_whistle:

I suppose we either have a case of my mind filling in between the lines with what letters I normally see between the P and the OUS, that or it's a little bit of vanity showing through. Either way, you are spot on, I was forced to grow up way to fast. I missed my childhood almost entirely.

Welcome to the SKMB- best playground in cyberspace.

And play I shall! Thanks!
