I want peace in my home.
I'm exhausted from worrying about kiddo injuring himself - or others - or destroying things (in addition to putting holes in his bedroom walls, he recently broke apart several of his favorite DVDs with his bare hands for no apparent reason).
Also, I need my daughter to get a job and do something with her lazy self.
I just pray for good things to happen for my family, and the SKMB family as well.

Ho! Ho! Ho!
I would also like to have people to remember the season is not about how much "stuff" you can get. I am a little cynical, after spending part of my day yesterday shopping. People can be ever so rude.
This is how I feel as well. I'm a much better at giving gifts than I am at asking for them. I usually look for ideas in the fall.....I don't ask for lists, and I give what I want to give.....I don't like giving gift cards, because I don't feel like it's personal enough. I'm usually able to find some really cool and unique things at good prices. I shop mostly at local merchants, and steer clear of crowded malls and stores.
Just like mean people, rude people also suck. I'm finished with all my shopping, and most of the gifts are wrapped. I'll spend the last few days making treats for friends and co workers, and enjoying the season.

......but I wouldn't turn down those G'N'R tix........:D

(((((Lepplady))))) May it be so ♥
We're not going to get the Christmas miracle we were hoping for, but soon. It's a hopeful sign that the tiles that will be our floor are sitting in boxes in the middle of the place. It's going to be gorgeous, worth the wait.
:smug:
Nice to see you. I was so sorry to hear about what happened. Hope you're doing okay (((lepp)))
Thanks. We're getting our legs back up under us. Normal's coming back around. Things are good.
