I'm pretty sure you watched the latest episode aired last week (season 4, episode 5 "Bullseye"). Tonight's episode is season 4, episode 6 "Circles in Wood". It's preceded by some repeats but if you watch the episode that comes on right before Hunting Hitler, you'll be watching the latest episode :)
Cool! THanks! I set my DVR to record everything, even old ones so I can watch.

I'm still trying to decide which 10 items I would choose. Number one on my list is a hammock. I don't want to sleep on the damp ground with all the snakes and scorpions. What are the players using to tie together bamboo for shelter roofs? Are they using parachute cord?

Not sure. They get very good at using stuff they find. Or, maybe it was one of their 10 items.

Well,
Fowler won, but the young girl was so close. She got pulled for medical reasons, she did NOT tap out. If she could've gotten some protein, she would've stayed in there.

Anyone watching the new season? They are in Mongolia this season.

Again, I always throw shade out about the Survivor shows, which I have watched and enjoyed.

This is on the history channel and is a true-life surviving situation. The real Survivor.

They have brought people back from other seasons for Redemption. So, I know these characters and their game play. It's fascinating to see what they do to survive for as long as they can to be the last person standing for $500,000.

I judge their decisions, I learn what to do and what not to do if I am ever stranded in the wilderness.

Normally, my go-to plan would be to sit on an ant hill and bawl until some serial killing Mountain Man comes along to "save" me, when in actuality, he is marching me to
Chez' Oh Crap and throws me in his pit of I'm-Going-To-F**k-You-Up.

That's when I smarten the hell right up and learn how to write secret messages with bear gristle which I then give to the chipmunks to pass on to the proper authorities.

The season ended and after 60 days, we had a winner. It blows me away that these people even attempt this. The big downfall to every single season is the fact no one has taken down any big game to keep themselves fed.

The winner usually wins because the other contestants are starving, which wears them down physically and mentally and they just can't take it anymore.

Plenty of fish are caught, mice and rodents seems to be a huge part of the diet -- and birds and herbs and edible plants while the weather is good. once that weather turns, the contestants start dropping like flies because food is hard to get.

But so far, no one has managed to get any big game. I think if one contestant got big game, preserved it correctly and avoided injury and illness, and had a good shelter -- they could stay out there for a long time.
