Another great episode. Only one more. Depending on the last episode, it may still be one of my more favourite seasons. I wonder in retrospect if the earlier episodes get better too if you know what comes after it. Sometimes it really pays off to stick with something even if it doesn't seem too great at first.

I kind of wish they could have recreated the iconic moment from Friday the 13th in a more memorable way. You feel it's coming, but it goes by too quickly almost. It's still fun that it's in there though.

The last episode ties up all the loose ends, but by itself itsn't that special. They have been building towards a concert, but you never see it happen unfortunately. I always wonder why they do something like that. In some books too. Basically the build-up is much better than the pay-off. It's hard to wrap up things, the last act is always the hardest to write, because you're juggling all the elements of the story and you have to find a place for all of them - which is hard to do. But often I feel they could have tried harder. Or at least be aware the audience expects something special - you so often hear complaints about endings of even the most popular books and films. Partly that could be because of the disappointment that something's finally over, but other times endings are just not that special.

The storylines of all the characters are brought to a fitting close though , which by itself is always satisfying to me. Last season I felt they made a mistake regarding Joan Collins' character.

Overall I liked it though. And it looks like the show will go on for quite some time still, as the makers seem to want it to go on as long as possible.
