I'm quickly losing interest this season. I can be doing five other things while an episode is on and not feel like I'm missing much.

I agree. There isn't much horror in watching Jimmy get drunk and feel sorry for himself. Dandy's boring, too.
I was wondering if anyone was still watching this, lol. I am because it's AHS but my god I'm bored. They're killing off all of the good people! Dandy was the most annoying thing ever but now he's the most interesting. But like Lepplady said, he's still boring. NOTHING is happening. They bring Gabby back for all of what, one and a half eps? Probably be the same with Lily Rabe. Why bother? I enjoyed the Dad turning his daughter into the Lizard lady and the girls' semi revenge on him. I have a feeling this show is going to end like Tod Brownings Freaks. One of Us! One of Us! chanted over and over. Do SOMETHING people, ANYTHING!! By far, my least favorite season.

Peppers story was so sad and so well written and acted. Loved how they came full circle to the Asylum. Jimmys hands? What will Desiree do to Mr. O'Hare(can never remember his characters name)

Yes! I saw that! A little flash forward trickery there. I wonder if this also has to do with Asylum? If I recall right didn't Lange's character Sister Jude say at one point she used to be in showbiz? No german accent in Asylum but maybe she had no legs either and we just didn't know it. I'm probably way off but I do like the way they tie things together like last ep

We've watched to episode 7, I think, with 3 left on the DVR [we're a couple weeks behind in the UK, and it's on a break at the mo']. I have to agree with the mixed feelings on this season; it's definitely a "watch it all before you decide" for me. Loving Kathy Bates' performance, but that's not saying much, seeing as I think she's brilliant in everything I've seen her in 
I'm a bit disappointed that Angela Basset's role isn't bigger, as I thought she was outstanding in Coven. And as we're big fans of The Shield, it's good to see Michael Chiklis in another show we enjoy, even if his character isn't very nice at all!
It's hard to say where this season may be going for me, but one thing's for sure - Dandy's uppance must come!!

Y'know those wonderfully creepy main title sequences? Within the music, someone whispers something. Sometimes I think they're saying Red Skin, sometimes it sounds like Are You Scared. Does anyone know what words are being whispered?

Thanks! It answered some of my questions. I watched Murder House earlier this week and could not figure out why the hole in the floor was shown in the opening credits. Now I know why I'm not surprised the same people who do the credits for AHS also do the credits for The Walking Dead. Both are very disturbing.
My favorite image in Freakshow's credits is the one of the dolls swapping heads. Somehow I find that ultra creepy... creepier since they're dolls y'know?
All I have to say about last weeks ep is this: Bizarre. Very Bizarre. Not a bad thing either. Oh, and Marjorie. Wow.

Wow is right! Last night's episode made up for all the slow moments in previous episodes.
Its about time Stanley got what he deserved. I was afraid his actions would go undiscoved. Justice served Tod Browning style is sweet Freaks was a great movie.
I was kinda hoping Maggie would be forgiven but Chester took that option away lol. I think Chester is creepier than Dandy. Actually, the only characters who arn't creepy freaky are the freaks. I can't wait to see what might happen to Elsa and Dandy next week

We didn't see where the twins were at the end of last night's episode.
LOVED how Stanley ended up, Freaks (movie) style. Loved the whole nod, with the freaks crawling after him under the caravan and all. Where will Elsa go? Where will all the freaks end up? And who else is missing?

Shew! I am caught up now! As y'all so eloquently put it... Wow! I was hoping that Doogie would spice things up a bit and, boy, did he ever! Sheesh! I do plan to go back and try to watch the other seasons as I have time. Can't wait for this finale!

Me too. Although I took two sittings to watch it all and I was cursing my TV when...
Dandy was shooting the freaks! I kept thinking, "There can't be any more bullets in that tiny gun!" And too take so many, just

I liked the wrap up with Elsa. I thought she was going to go with Twisty and the others, but was much happier with the alternative.
So now, I am ready to go back and watch other seasons. What order would you veteran viewers recommend? Should I go back to Season 1 and give it another try? Start with Asylum since I am familiar with Pepper? Or is Coven my best option?
Yes, she has. And honestly I tied that into the ending of this season, with her just being so tired. I love her and think she is amazing, but maybe burnt out after 4 seasons??
