Just something interesting to discuss.

And I meant darabont*
I've asked Steve's film agent if I can have clarification about some of the projects to pass along here so that we can have accurate information to discuss. It just causes problems for us on this end and sometimes disappointment from fans when information that's not accurate starts going viral. No offense intended to you for passing this along--I could have deleted it but thought it would make for interesting discussion as well.

Unless I see it on imdb as pre or mid production, I don't take anything I see like this seriously.

A lot of these I just can't see going to the big screen. A lot of them could translate, Ron Howard has been the talk of the gunslinger series for years, but if they think they can make Rose Madder or the long walk look in any way the books made us (me) feel, I think they're banking too much on the King name.

Jesus I had no idea there were that many adaptations in the works.

A Perfect Marriage seems like it'l be really good. I just have a feeling, they have a good cast. I don't know a whole lot about the director but I have high hopes for it. Would also be nice to see Scott Derickson take a crack at the Breathing Method. He's a good director, The Exorcism of Emily Rose was great but he often gets stuck behind the 8ball making films with stupid scripts (The Day the Earth Stood Still remake, Hellraiser Inferno) or even good ideas with not enough budget to make them right (Sinister was made for less then 2 million I heard, still came out decent). His new one Deliver Us From Evil looks pretty good.

The one I'm most looking forward to is Geralds Game because the guy directing, Mike Flannagan, directed one of my favorite horror flicks of the last few years, Absentia, which is a great Psychological horror flick. He also did Oculus, which ma have had a dumb concept (Haunted Mirror) but was still made rather enjoyable with the seemless back and forth between Flashbacks and the present. They couldn't have picked a better director for this story, he's about the only one out there I can see pulling it off.

The driver? The driver of the vehicle the president was in? I do not understand if this is what you mean. I am dense the way. If that IS what you mean than how could that have happened? Ooops I am Canadian and you asked Americans lol.
Yes, the driver of the jfk's vehicle. You can post your opinion, too. This theory was circulated by Bill Cooper.

I heard the driver shot JFK. I am curious what Americans think about it.

No - it must have been Jackie Kennedy (she had a gun hidden under her little pink pillbox hat).
