Just reread the screenplay/rewatched SOTC, which is still just as incredible as when I read/watched it as a kid!

My question is: Why does Mr. Linoge love I'm a little teapot? Was there a significance to this song, or is it just inherently creepy?

I think he makes it creepy. But it's not intended that way at all.

It's a silly little childhood song, sweet and nonthreatening. Except when that teapot starts shouting.

I think the song and Andre juxtaposition is used effectively.

Sweet and lovely childhood next to evil and rot.

"Sweet and lovely childhood next to evil and rot." I somehow never thought of it this way, but I love it..
