I finished UTD 2 nights ago...this morning I'm standing on my outside walkway (waiting for my dogs to do their thing) I look down and see a couple ants, my first impulse was too step on them and even as I was moving my foot I stopped and immediately thought about the Dome. Maybe that's a weird thought but those ants will live to see another day...the Dome got me thinking that karma can be a "thing that rhymes with witch"!

On a different note - did anyone else find themselves literally holding there breath at times as SK was describing how the characters dealt with the post fire air quality? I had to remind myself it's ok to breathe and take several deep breaths.

The Tommyknockers and Cell tapped into my fear of group-think. The ESP (in the first) novel only amplified the fear. Haha
Could you imagine if we all could read minds? The world would have ended after the first marriage, LOL.
Have you read The Chrysalids by John Wyndham? - he delves into that topic, only in a positive way - I loved that book!
