I got my ticket for the 7 p.m. showing on Thursday and I have friends who are big fans of Stephen coming from as far away as Tennessee to see the premiere in Stephen's hometown. I'm hoping the theater celebrates the screening with something special, since it's not often that they get to show movies that take place in a fictionalized version of Bangor.
Anyone else seeing IT in Bangor?

Half the state's libraries could be named after him, for all the money he's donated over the years. It'll be cool to see "Bangor" on the big screen.

The main theater is Bangor Mall Cinemas 10 (appropriately, next to the Bangor Mall). There's also a theater near the airport that we call "cheap seats" because they have the cheapest tickets. It's definitely not the best theater, but it's good for any movies you don't want to spend more than $5 to see. And Spotlight Cinemas in nearby Orono is on par with Bangor Mall Cinemas
