I've been looking at one that says it will work on Windows. Then it says Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Think it will work on Windows 10?

....no, I don't think so....they are usually platform specific....
If it works on 7 it will probably work on 10 but go to the manufacturer's web site (probably support on the menu) and see if there is a FAQ section. You will probably find that question and answer there.
I got an external dvd player and put it on the outside window cill. The first time it rained it never worked again. Put it in a plastic bag would be my advice. Hope this helps.

Most things like peripherals are 'plug and play' with drivers being downloaded automatically. It should work with Windows 10 but like Joe says, contact their support first because windows 10 does still have some compatability issues.
