Anyone see the nod to IT on the new X-Files?

I haven't seen the full episode yet but I saw a clip; A little boy In a yellow rainslicker (much like Georgie's) is lured into the woods by a scary looking children's show mascot named Mr. Chuckletooth. I can't wait to get my Blu-ray in the mail so I can watch the full episode. Mr. Chuckletooth is the stuff nightmares are made of.

This should be Episode 8, called Familiar. It's got good reviews, saying it's one of the scarier episodes.

I've only seen the first 4 of season 11 so far. Haven't got around to the rest yet.

But are you sure it references IT? Yellow raincoats are quite common. And it also doesn't remind me of a form IT took on.

Still a seemingly innocent thing luring a child who doesn't know any better

When I saw the episode I never felt it had anything to do with IT. I think you can always draw comparisons between films, but this didn't feel like a direct reference at all.
Mr. Chuckle Teeth is also a toy based on a children's tv series, which is something completely different from IT.

Mister Chuckle Teeth

EDIT: well, it seems in the trivia section of that link IT is indeed mentioned and the episode as having similarities and homages to IT. So the OP was probably right, although it didn't feel to me that way. I'll probably watch the season again in some time and see if I can spot the similarities.
The season overall was better than the first revival season, but the storyline of Mulder and Scully's son didn't amount to much in the end unfortunately,
