I remember the Eerie/Creepy comics from the 70s and early 80s, and always though they were pretty great. I think "Tales from the Crypt" were long-gone by then, though I lived in a small town and only saw bigger inventories when we'd shop in Wichita Falls or Fort Worth...

Wonder if anyone is publishing a regular monthly or quarterly anthology of similar stuff these days? I've recently been seeing the old Heavy Metal branded sci-fi issues in a nearby truck stop and picked a couple up. Not only am I surprised to see that old horse still around (and these are shiny, brand-new, just-published-and-printed issues!), but I've been very surprised at the quality of art and storytelling available there.

Wish there was a horror/suspense anthology in comic form out there--I'd buy it!

I have to get this Creepshow comic book. I have been wanting to pull the trigger on this one for awhile. The movie had always been one of my favorites before I really knew there was a comic. I just have wondered how different the movie compared to the comic book. I am anxious to find out.
...they did a pretty decent job with the original...the sequels were rabbit vomit...

That's a great link, Thanks :) My first experience with graphic novels wasn't actually a graphic novel, it was a Mad Magazine spoof of the Swamp Thing. I love the Swamp Thing :)

The movie is better but the comic is cool and fun and should be in every fan's collection.

There is a recent comic called "Creeps" put out by Warrant publishing that is close to the original Creepy and you can get in on the ground floor of collecting them. Don't mistake it for Creeps by Image comics though. It may be a fine comic for all I know but it's not in the Creepy tradition.
