Hmmm, so tell me again how you are not affiliated with the Knights of Columbus? :)

Stupid Hoss memory, always being right and calling stuff back out. What a butthole that guy is!!!!
Never affiliated with the KoC, but they did try recruiting me. I was expected to become a priest though. Luckily they stopped running the bus to my town from the nearest Catholic High, and I finally got to go to public school... which F’d me according to my parents. (Proof there is a God and he does answer prayers on occasion. :))

Well in our exchanges, this is the first time you've even admitted you're Catholic or were raised such. Maybe you have elsewhere. I stay out of the religion threads for the most part.

But this sheds light on where all this comes from. Interesting. No worries, I will NEVER mention it again. :)

I remember sneaking swigs of the tabernacle wine on occasion, but I don’t recall them ever serving Tea. :)

That's OK, I heard the TP decided their name was no longer applicable and have changed it to a more suitable name. This was primarily because, as you point out, they don't really drink much tea.

The new name is the "Kool Aid Party". Much more suitable for a bunch of Kool Aid drinkers, don't you think? :)

So does anyone want to discuss this? In English preferably?

So, I do have a real question for those who favor "universal background checks"

Have you given any thought as to how it could possibly be accomplished without federal firearms registration as the democrats apparently claimed?

Does anyone even know the details of the mechanism for the "universal background check" proposed a couple of years ago or was Congress just supposed to pass a theory so we can "see what's in it?"

OK then.

You were right twice today. Three seems to be too much I guess. And no, "Kool Aid Party" has been the nickname for Democrats going on 15 years now. Do try and keep up with the times. :)

Do you have sources proving that novelists attract a more progressive crowd? I just don't see it.

Most of the hostility I see here is coming directly from you. From an admittedly biased perspective, one might believe that there is more deference shown people who share the "powers that be's" viewpoints. That is completely human and understandable, but might contribute to the imbalance in the hot topics section.

Relax though, it's just a theory because I don't share yours, which is an obvious implication that conservatives, being dumb, don't like to read.

I happen to be moderately conservative, and I can assure you that Hoss, in no way shape or form has ever implied that I am dumb and don't like to read. In fact, I can assure you that he knows that I am intelligent, and quite well read.
....and guess what?....I don't always agree with him, but I am still respected for my intelligent opinions.
I really find your comment to be personally insulting and uncalled for.

How did I personally insult you?
By implying that another member might think that I am dumb and don't like to read because I happen to lean to the conservative side of things. I thought I highlighted that part in my quote.
