Has anyone listened to the audiobook of Insomnia read by Eli Wallach? I am currently listening to it as well as reading it from the book at times. I have a hard time understanding his pronunciations at times, but I like that it is narrated by an older gentleman since Ralph is also an older gentleman. I am enjoying the book overall.

...haven't listened to the audiobook, but the novel is one of my favorites-I guess because I'm an old soul....

I love Mr. Wallach's interpretation, especially the voices he uses for "the little doctors", especially Atropos.

My one complaint for this particular iteration would have to be that the musical interludes are occasionally grating, more so than I think was intended. I understand that it lends atmosphere, but sometimes it's over the top.

Agreed on the music being grating, and made it hard to hear the book from time to time. I don't think the music was necessary given the excellent interpretation.
