I don't love it, but that's only because
what George Stark is is never made clear-- I get, and don't mind, using my imagination, but King really doesn't give us much to work with.

...you're right young'un...it's never spelled out that I could see-I took it on faith that it was a type of revenant given flesh, due to the twin "tumor" and some weird power of Thad's brain....[\spoiler]

Yep. This...:) (Although I think those things are actually said outright in the book, aren't they?)
This was always one story I enjoyed quite a bit.

When I read the Dark Half, I was (I don't know the right word maybe surprised and pleased) a word that means a combination of both? I couldn't believe it when I turned one page to find Mr. King comparing two characters who showed up at the door to Tad Beuamont's house looking like H&R Block tax agents. I was working as a Senior Tax consultant for H&R Block at that time. I took the book to the regional office meeting. We had found ourselves imortalized by Stephen King!
