Having a flick through Bare Bones... and noticed that it includes an interview with Edwin Pouncey that was first published in Sounds music paper back in 1983.
I still remember being delighted at the time when I saw they were publishing an interview with Mr. King as I bought Sounds every week back then.

...it has been more than a few loops around the moon since I read it-but I remember it being fascinating and more "real" than some of the dreck that has been released, purporting to tell us about the Inkslinger....

The only other book I have about Mr. King in a biographical bent by another author is America's Best-Loved Boogeyman by George Beahm.
I got it online a few years ago and fully intend to finish reading it at some stage.

...Beahm is not a well loved name amongst many....not sure where the animosity started, but maybe Ms. Mod can shed a bit of light...
