Puig has to be the most colorful player in the MLB. Worth watching the game just to see his antics.

Puig, while talented, annoys me.

Let’s not even talk about Machado. He’s the reason Pedroia had to have knee surgery and is on the bench. The Brewers would agree he is a dirty player.

Puig... don't go for three... don't go for three... don't... aw crap! :)

The booing for Machado will be déjà vu all over again.

2018 WS game #1 victory for the Red Sox!

Kershaw looked a little overwhelmed in the 1st inning. Defense let him down and then three quick hits and BOOM! 2-0 Sox in the top of the 1st.

Wasn't happy about Devers being hit for but then Nunez hits the 3 run bomb :D Cora's crystal ball has been spot on thus far!

I'm hoping the good David Price shows up for game #2. Would be awfully nice to head to LA with a 2 game lead.

2018 WS game #2 history for the Red Sox!

Price pitched well again and the two out RISP train keeps rolling for Boston. Also, Joe Kelly has morphed back into the guy he was in the first half and Kimbrel is back to his dominant self. Hope that keeps up!

Dodgers pitching coach was complaining about how close the fans are to the bullpens at Fenway. Seriously, dude? It's only been that way for 100+ years. I've never heard any other team complain about it. Put on your big boy pants and deal with it.

Red Sox are 2018 WS Champs! 4th title since 2004! There was a day when I thought I'd never even see them win one. Boston sports fans are truly lucky. 11 total championships since 2001 in football, baseball, hockey, and basketball. Unreal.

SwiftDog's thoughts on the WS:

Dodgers looked shell-shocked from the jump. The competition they faced in the NL is nowhere close to what the Red Sox had to face to get to the WS.

Kershaw continues to poop his pants in big games.

David Price's redemption is complete. Since his pants pooping against the Yankees in the ALDS he has pitched great. I am happy for him, That was a gutsy performance in game #5 on short rest. Kudos to him. I was one of the fans that doubted him and Cora's insistence on sticking with him. He happily proved me wrong. I was hoping he'd get the WS MVP but it's hard to ignore Pearce and his HRs.

The Dodgers didn't learn the "don't troll the Red Sox" lesson. They post a "Damage Done" tweet after that marathon game #3. Then promptly lost the next two games. Come on guys, the Red Sox beat two better teams than yours to even get to the WS. Never give your opponent bulletins board material. It just comes back to bite you in the a**!

The game #3 marathon was unreal. Eovaldi turned in one of the greatest relief performances I've ever seen. That guy is a beast. It's too bad he got the loss on the walkoff HR. He gave everything he had in that game. And yes, I did watch all 7+ hours of that game.

I was worried after that game #3 marathon. The pitching staff was spent and I had no idea who was going to start. Enter E-Rod. He made one mistake (the HR to Puig) in an otherwise dominant performance. His teammates bailed him out so it's all good.

Chris Sale rallied his team in game #4 with his tirade in the dugout. Whatever he said it worked.

Craig Kimbrel turned back into a pumpkin in game #4. That dude is going to give me a heart attack. Sox won so that's all that matters. But boy did he make it difficult.

I dislike Manny Machado even more after this WS. What kind of BS is that stomping on Pearce's foot at 1B? He deliberately went to inside part of the bag on his way down the line to do it, too. F*** that guy. Dirty and lazy player. If he's back i the AL next year he better watch out against the Red Sox. He better get used to chin music.

Dave Roberts is probably out as manager. He made some questionable decisions. It's too bad. He's a good guy.

What can I say about Alex Cora? Just about every move he made in the postseason worked out. Luck was a part of it but he believed in his guys and boy did they deliver.

Nice way to bookend the season for Sale, He was on the mound to start and on the mound to end it with a Championship. Now he juts needs to get healthy over the winter.

Now let's see if Boston teams can bring home another Super Bowl title, NBA Championship, and Stanley Cup this year! All are possible (well maybe not the Stanley Cup).

Manny Machado got paid. Headed to the Padres on a 10 year, $300 million deal.

Where do you think Harper signs? The Phillies seem to be the leader in the clubhouse.

Ugh, I can’t stand that lazy, selfish player. 300m for a guy who says hustling is not his thing? That contract is an albatross for the Padres. Good luck to them.

Not sure where Harper will end up. Hopefully, it’s not NY.

His contract will fit right in with Hosmer's then. Good thing they have a great farm system. They'll have to load their roster up with young, cheap players.

The Machado deal is going to make it hard for just about any team to sign Harper as I expect his agent will be looking for an even bigger deal than the one Machado got.

He'll end up on a team with deep pockets. The usual suspects would be Boston, NY, LA, Philly (maybe), or Houston.

Boston doesn't need him. The Red Sox already have the best outfield in the game, The Yankees don't need him either. Although, if they were smart they would trade Stanton and replace him with Harper. Some guys can't handle the pressure in NY. I think Stanton is one of those guys. Philly, LA, and Houston could all use him.

I just don't see the logic in locking up any player for 10 years. That is way too long.

Isn't there some escape clause in the Machado deal after 5 years?
