What do you think?

Is Norma dead?

I think she is. If, that is the case, I think that it would make for a very interesting season 5 where Norman would be on his own. If she is dead, this would be a different death than what was mentioned in the book. I believe that Norman poisoned his mother and boyfriend in the book. I love the Norma character and would hate to lose her early but it really would be interesting to see Norman without her for an entire season. There is still an episode to go in this season. Should be a good one next week.

I think she's dead. Next week is going to be great. I feel like this will be the last season but it could be interesting to see Norman running the hotel whil still impersonating his dead mother. Another season? I'd definitely watch.

There is already a fifth season planned. A year ago, the network renewed the show for 2 more seasons (4 & 5). Season 5 will probably be the end.

Season 5

I read a couple articles about what is planned for season 5 and it sounds like they are going to take the story right up to the point where the movie starts. It sounds like Marion Crane will be making an appearance in the show. I really like that Norman will be getting an entire season running the motel without mother. I'm sure mother will be very active next season despite being gone. ;-D

I think season 4 was Freddie's best work as Norman. He was good in the other seasons too but I thought he was magnificent in season 4.

Wow wow wow wow!!!

The last 2 episodes were so stellar. This has definitely been the best season.

Will still use spoilers, just in case someone is behind like me. ;-D

When Norman went home to a dark empty house after being released from the hospital and said, "Mother?" inside the front door, I seriously got chills.

Another great moment was when Norma briefly opened her eyes and looked at him at the funeral home. Oh my gosh!!!

Both Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore should be shoe-ins for Emmy wins for this season. They have been amazing the whole time, but this season was really, really excellent. Mr. Maybelline eyes has been great too. ;)

How about when Norman glued mom's eyes open? That was pretty sick too.

Oh gosh, YES!! I loved the whole episode.

When he flopped her out on the ground next to her grave and then he sat her in the passenger seat! And then when she fell out of the car. I was thinking, boy, she is going to have some bruises after this! It was so creepy!!
