This thread has brought me to a couple of new ones I simply MUST check into.
Black Mirror
Afterlife
Darknet
Maybe I missed it, which ones are on Netflix?
I've heard of Afterlife because of Andrew Lincoln but not the other two. Can anyone give me a brief rundown of these so I can decide if I want to watch?

I don't think anyone has mentioned Hemlock Grove yet. I've had it in my netflix queue for forever but have yet to watch. Heard good things though!

Black Mirror and Darknet are on Netflix. I don't think Afterlife is.

The story telling is unique and it takes turns that are unexpected. The characters are also great.

I do like the characters. But a few times I say something and it happens. I predicted a big characters death....and I thought that character was in season four, so I found it confusing that he was going to die in season one. So, I spent the last show expecting him to reappear, and that he had a double that had been beheaded. When he still didn't show up by the first show in season two, I googled, and he's really dead. (Disappointed that I predicted it, and also that he's dead...I liked him.)

I took champ1966 's suggestion and started Teachers tonight. Very funny, and a very different performance from Andrew Lincoln than I'd come to expect. Only one episode in so far, but I like!

I watched season 1 last weekend. It was better than I remembered.I'm watching my boxset of Shameless (UK version) this week.

Afterlife is not on Netflix. I saw the first season on US DVD at Walmart (very briefly) and both seasons on Amazon. They're about $25 a pop, though, so I bought the Brit DVDs for much less. Black Mirror was a fascinating look at the dark side of tech. Haven't seen Darknet--I defer to Sigmund on that one. Hemlock Grove season 1 was uneven, but I liked it. It didn't seem to know where it's audience was, though: though it had a youth vibe and two young leads, it kept having these pretty explicit scenes of older people having sex--squicked my kids out (lol). Each episode got stranger, but in what I thought was a good way. The second season was pretty bad, unfortunately. It didn't find it's focus until the last couple of episodes.
