...Rev. Graham was the only televangelist I could stomach over the years....he seemed to truly be a man of faith and not in it for how many dollars he could pocket in the name of "Faith".....rest well Billy, you and the Big Man should have a lot to talk about....
...as an aside, I always picture Father Callahan looking like Billy.....

I met him in 1983, in a tent, where he introduced me to his boss. He is a true prince of the Kingdom.
That's incredible, I bet you'll never forget it. He definitely had a heart for lost souls and an unshakable focus on reaching people for Christ.

I pictured a Charlton Heston-type but I certainly can see Graham, too.
I remember when we first sent Spirit, the remote lander/vehicle, to Mars, him saying he wasn't the least bit threatened by the idea of alien life, saying, more or less, paraphrasing here, he'd be the first one to step up and talk the Bible and the Gospel with them ....
(that being that a single cell life-form or even a fossil of one found on Mars would be strongly suggestive of life elsewhere in the universe other than just on Earth)
I always pictured him as Max Von Sydow as Father Merrin in The Exorcist, myself.
I haven't written my own epitaph, and I'm not sure I should. Whatever it is, I hope it will be simple, and that it will point people not to me, but to the One I served.
The outpouring of love we are seeing as we travel from Asheville to Charlotte via the motorcade with my father @BillyGraham is overwhelming. People lining the streets, the overpasses—Thank you.
