No, I didn't get a Dremel, or even a box cutter.
I did get some really cool stuff though. A bluetooth speaker that has color changing lights, a wireless charging station for the phone and tablet, a food saver sealing system, a copy of Full Throttle, and my favorite gift was a pendant necklace that BF made for me with green sea glass and a silver chain.

...that would be a lovely neck piece....bonus points for the boyfriend!....

Out of Order This might sound kinda dumb, but I want to know...... Do chickadees come with red caps as well as black? I'm seeing what I thought were young cardinals last fall, but they are the same size they were then.

Yes!!! That's what they are. There's a whole bunch of them. In the past, I've only had golden finches, and chickadees in the hanging baskets. I like the red ones, too. I've gotta get some houses out while they're looking. It's still too cold here for hanging baskets yet.

This is the best book for identifying birds in North America. Plus in the back they have a check-off area for when you see one. Mine is pretty beat up.

We do get the House Finch on occasion, but the Purple is a yearlong resident. They are quite an eyeful at the window feeder....

,....yep, we have us a gang of chickadees, finches, cardinals, titmice, nuthatches, woodpeckers gobblin' up the GNT birdseed stock.....(though a couple of the bird names, could be porn star names)......
