Do you sell these? I whant to do like my own Stephen king book purse but I do not whant to pay like 70.00 for one on the internet. I have an idea to do it myself using an existing purse shell

I've never made anything worth selling lol. You might start out making checkbook covers - no zippers involved lol.

Stacey sells the voodoo dolls :)

It looks like 14. I don't have the package it came in. When I started it I was working on something with very small x's. I needed something with larger ones to rest my eyes, so 14 is what I would have probably chosen.

If I ever finish this one, I have a pattern for a companion piece. Saria. Black with several shades of green. :hammer:

That is beautiful intricate work! Lovely, AnnaMarie!

Sort of. I've been having my house remodeled so that I will have a proper hobby studio. My garage has been converted to the studio and a new attached garage built. This has been going on since May and finally getting down to the finish line--should be done with everything on the punch list today for the contractor. I took the extra days off so that I could install the flooring and baseboards. Still need to install more of the baseboard but have to do the miter cutting so that will wait until this coming weekend. I got enough done that I could start setting up one area even though I should have waited to finish it all. Just couldn't contain myself, though, and it has given me motivation to keep going as I was at the point that I'd had it. It's looking fantastic and can't wait to use it. Hopefully, it will be worth the 3 extra years I'll be working so I can have it paid off before I do retire. :smile2:

What a fantastic idea! I'm excited for you, and thrilled we've got you here for 3 more years than we previously thought! It would be superfine if you wanted to share pictures.

(An aside - every time, I mean every single time, I have to type the world share, I accidently type the word shart. I need to find a new word for share.)

Hoping to start construction in June and will take pics of the process. Am converting my 24 x 28 garage into a craft studio and having a new garage built. Any takers on an "office" pool for how long before I outgrow the new one because I keep buying craft supplies and try new crafts?

How's the craft studio coming along? Did you take pics of the process?

I am still setting things up but hope to have the downstairs part done by the end of this weekend. No big surprise that the 4-6 weeks that the contractor told me turned into 3-1/2 months so it wasn't finished by them until a couple weeks ago. Once they were done, I then installed the flooring and baseboards (still finishing those up) on those 3-day weekends I took in July as that's the only blocks of time I had and now it's moving everything in so it's a bit of a disaster zone at the moment.

I have been taking pictures of the progress and will share more later but the yarn/weaving area is the closest to being fully set up so here's a preview from a couple angles. Really should have moved the trash bag and taken another picture but will do that later when I'm finally done. The "disaster zone" is on the other side of the room behind the hutch and bookcase (you're seeing the back of that).

That's looking good! It's so organized! It's fun to have a large enough area so you can organize. I have to stuff everything willy nilly into a couple closets :( I love the flooring - great job!
