I am still setting things up but hope to have the downstairs part done by the end of this weekend. No big surprise that the 4-6 weeks that the contractor told me turned into 3-1/2 months so it wasn't finished by them until a couple weeks ago. Once they were done, I then installed the flooring and baseboards (still finishing those up) on those 3-day weekends I took in July as that's the only blocks of time I had and now it's moving everything in so it's a bit of a disaster zone at the moment.

I have been taking pictures of the progress and will share more later but the yarn/weaving area is the closest to being fully set up so here's a preview from a couple angles. Really should have moved the trash bag and taken another picture but will do that later when I'm finally done. The "disaster zone" is on the other side of the room behind the hutch and bookcase (you're seeing the back of that).

Seems almost too nice to mess up with the actual crafts. :)

That's looking good! It's so organized! It's fun to have a large enough area so you can organize. I have to stuff everything willy nilly into a couple closets :( I love the flooring - great job!
The trick will be keeping it organized! The flooring is a vinyl planking that installs like laminate flooring so was relatively easy to do--just time-consuming with such a large space. I'm considering putting it in the rooms that are being emptied out and my entry hallway as it's waterproof so wouldn't be an issue with tracking in when it's snow and mud season.

Once the newness wears off, I don't think that will be a problem! The optimist in me tells myself that this time I will keep it tidy.
Just attach your wood chipper to the building and put in one of those dog entry doors for easy access to the chute. That would help to keep things nice and tidy... and serve as an easy method to get rid of unwanted guests from PA. :)

....that's my girl!.....blue language and throwing things are sometimes the only languages inanimate objects respect.....
Amen to that! Fortunately I had a massage already scheduled when I finished the flooring upstairs and down (used peel & stick in the attic area) otherwise I'm not sure I'd be kneeling down even by now. My knees and quads were not very happy with me so between the tricky cuts and up/down, the air was practically indigo.

Here are a few bits of mine, I make lots of bits with wire, polymer clay and I'm also a cross stitch geek. haha
