I worked on it for a couple hours on Saturday and then finished up about mid-afternoon on Sunday so I'm considering that one day all told. It's knit on circular needles until you get to the top of the hat and then have to switch to double-pointed needles because you're decreasing stitches. I did have to rip things out a few times because I would lose my place reading the chart for the middle section. The next one should go easier. You made that hat in a day?!?!? Your new studio must be magical... like Santa's workshop. Did you make the hat with normal knitting needles? I love the pattern, love the colors too
That's a really pretty quilt pattern - it's not too fussy, y'know? And the colors won't clash with much. The stocking is also very pretty
My daughter had picked out the fabrics and had already done quite a few of the blocks for the quilt. It should go nicely in my SIL's office which she's painted a navy blue. It's also the guest room where I sleep when I visit them so it's really going to be more my quilt than my SIL's.
