yeah that is a little weird..I always pictured her like Velma, from Scooby Doo,you know?View attachment 19313
Incidentally,it was a bit dismaying to google velma, there are some pretty sick people out there who have created a whole miasma of Scooby characters in various stages of undress, doing unmentionable things,etc...what the hell is wrong with people..
So - find anything good?

I always pictured that chick (can't remember her name) who played Chloe from 24 as Holly.

Harry Treadway is an interesting choice. Loved his work on Penny Dreadful, and if the BBC is skewing younger for the next Doctor Who after Capaldi steps down, he has my vote.

Ha,no,I am not a porn guy..find it a bit disconcerting when you google something innocent and then there is creepy stuff goin on..I love beautiful women too,but the crap these people put on is just plain disgusting..
You are right - some of the mean comments on certain memes make me feel sick as well

And to do that with Scooby Doo, Inc! Seriously. Is nothing sacred? I STILL watch old scooby doos. Not that lame azz Scrappy Do crap, and not Vincent Price and his 15, 13, 22 ghosts, -- and occasionally, scooby doo hanging out with the harlem globe trotters or dick van dyke pushed my limits of Scooby Doo solidarity, but, leave my damn cartoon memories alone!

Still trying to wrap my mind around the young, conventionally attractive blonde actress choice for Holly Gibney (Justine Lupe). Sure she's nice to look at, but not how I pictured Holly at all...

Solidarity, sister! Original Scooby is, was, and always will be my favorite cartoon. I have personal memories of the Watergate hearings just because for a while they pre-empted my damn Scooby Doo fix! I remember turning on the TV, all excited, and then seeing all the stupid suits and groaning, "Oh no! Not stupid Watergate again!" I was barely 6, but it made a deep impression on me :)

Mary Lynn Rajskub. She was Steve's first choice as well even before the series was optioned.

There is no way in the world a crocodile could survive living in northern Maine in the winter(even though I've never been there) I know that it can get well below freezing in Aroostook in winter and a crocodile couldn't handle the temperature. I like the scene where the crocodile drags the grizzly bear (I didn't know they had grizzlys in Maine). Gleeson is good in and I always like Pullman and I also like Fonda. I also think Oliver Platt is a good actor. I remember my dad telling me that about 1870 in a lake they drained near where he came from the workers found a huge eel/water serpent type creature. How could that survive the cold.

Oh, I have not seen the movie in several years I didn't realize it was set in Maine, I was talking about Lake Placid in New York, it is also where the Winter Olympics was in 1980, the US hockey team won against the USSR..

Lake Placid is in NY, not Maine, but you are correct that it's highly unlikely crocodiles could survive in the wild even in southern Maine. We don't have grizzly bears but we do have black bears.
