I guess I'm in the minority...I do not like Chastain for Bevvie. Don't get me wrong, she's a great actress (Zero Dark Thirty still remains one of my favorite female badazz movies) but to me, she doesn't have that smoky sexiness that Bev is supposed to exude. Bryce Dallas Howard or Rachelle LeFevre, heck maybe even Emma Stone (though she's still a bit young) would have been a better choice. JMO. Henry? Maybe Chris Pratt. He's old enough (40) and it would be interesting to see if he could pull off a bad guy.

We all have our opinions, there is nothing wrong with disagreements. As for Chris Pratt, he could have also played Ben, but I think he would be pretty expensive since he's apart of major money makers like the Marvel Universe, and Jurassic World.

The TV movie? Not one of my favorites, aside fro TIm Curry.
No - the one that was shown in theatres with the new Pennywise - we saw it at the movie theatre but Andy has never seen it (I went with Josh and his friend Pam). He says he does not care whether I record it or not but I think once he sees the new movie, he'll probably like it.

I heard the TV movie wasn't very good, either.

By the way, when I called it the first It movie, I did so because this thread is about the upcoming part 2 with adult versions of the kids from the first big screen movie

The first It movie will be showing on TV here on June 30th - I'm planning to record it - it's either on Superchannel or the Movie Network.

IT Premieres here in the US on June 30th on HBO
I liked the TV mini-series :uncomfortableness:

I do too. I think it can be enjoyed for what its worth.
