Yeah, looks like he should...but I'm worried about how he'll look coming around the clubhouse turn at Pimlico. Don't know what to make of the three interviewers talking over and around each other to ask a question. Have a sense of whom-so-ever standing off camera holding up whatever it is they hold up...fingers? five four three two...next question. Whose turn was it? At least there weren't a pile of distracting placards in the windows.

I wonder if any of them read the book??

It's always such a treat to watch SK's interviews! Thanks for posting the link!

A question out of curiosity - a little under four minutes into the video, they show all three books in the trilogy. I didn't recognize the Mr. Mercedes or Finders Keepers covers (different from the hardcovers I have). Anyone know their origin?

From the way they talked, it sure sounds like none of them are readers.. Gees, they were all throwing knuckleballs at him at once , they were all over the place with questions, hard to get into a good rhythm. But it was a good interview for him, thought he looked good, even with the skinny jeans that are popular with hipsters and teenage girls,haha..

What about the white shirt? Did he buy that or was it a shirt they gave him out of wardrobe?

(No offense, Mr. King - you look good in white!) :m_whistle:

I came to this thread to make a couple comments about the interview, but they have already been covered. Still, let me join in.

First, the Cujo anecdote...I too could not stand hearing that again (I also didn't like hearing the woman-in-the-supermarket-you-couldn't-have-written-"Shawshank" story). Come on, guys...there's only so much interview time estate, why waste it on that?

I also was going to mention that none of them seemed to have read the book...which is understandable, if you think about it (i.e., they can't read every book when a guest comes on). The problem in this case, though, is that they didn't at least know (or seemed not to know) about the supernatural pivot the last book took. That would have been an excellent discussion point; will readers who were used to the crime angle of the first two tomes suddenly be thrown off by the telekinesis?

I would have figured that Rose would have had some better questions, maybe even some business-related ones. (You've been making a lot of filmed-entertainment deals, Mr. King, let me ask -- in this age of streaming, could there be a Stephen King over-the-top branded channel? An app that delivers King content? Come on, Charlie, you could have dug a little deeper into the business model!)

No one asked what's next...granted, I'm sure on the tour, people will, but I would have liked to have seen that topic covered in this particular interview.
