What traits gravitate you towards a character? Perhaps there is a character who reflects your own personality or beliefs. Sometimes we are fascinated with those character types that vary from ourselves. Overall, I think we as readers can learn much from a character. Likewise, for those who are writers, we discover a character by chance and question why we came across them. Personally, one of my recent characters captivates my attention. Chauncey Graeme, a WWII soldier with extreme trauma. One day I hope to learn more of him and his story. So what character piques your interest?

Mark Petrie from 'Salem's Lot. I was 15 when I read that book for the first time (it was also my very first King book) and I was Mark. Come to think of it, I was also Carrie.....
Same with me. I used to own (and still do) models, but when I was like ten years old, these were scary. Mark Petrie had them near his bed and grabs the cross and burn the Glick boy with it.

Now that's a great choice. If you're ever adventurous then you should look into Saiyuki- it is a comic written by Kazuya Minekura and an anime series. I think you'd like Sha Gojyo the best✌
Thanks for the suggestion Brash.Kid. I'll see if the library has a copy. It's time to jump on that horse again. What I mean by that is that one time I brought home one of those Japanese graphic novels and was slightly embarrassed when one of the grandkids said "Papa, you're reading it wrong. You have to go backwards." I never did like that kid.
