Have you put your snow tires on yet, Ms Mod?
Just bought a new car about a month ago that has AWD and settings for snow & ice that I'm hoping will get me through until I leave for AZ. My SO will be driving it while I'm gone but if he wants to buy snow tires (of course, the old ones I had won't fit the new car), he's welcome to do so.

Prius AWD-e?
Nope. Rav4, not even a hybrid which made me a little sad but if the time comes when I have to leave my car for the winter and it isn't being used, it isn't good to not drive a hybrid for more than a couple weeks because of the battery. Has all the safety bells and whistles I was looking for and figured it would be better to get a car loan while I was still employed or would have put off a new car for a few more years. Driving in MA with the Prius could be frightening at times because of the blind spots that model (2012) had. I hear the newer ones are better but still would have had the hybrid battery issue. She's pretty, too. I'm loving the red--must be my senior life crisis kicking in. :)

Good looking car and sound choice. The wife got a Phantom Black Dodge Charger AWD for her midlife crisis (Her first choice was a red one but it had leather seats and that was a deal buster for her). That thing is longer than my Jeep Commander.

Very nice looking car! I have AWD on mine and it is about the same size as your new one (mine is a Ford Edge) and it does handle nicely in the winter weather.

My SO is retired so won't have to do any daily driving or go out when the weather is bad but good to know it should handle well when he does. There is a setting for snow/ice so if he does get stuck, should help get him going without needing assistance. I just hope he doesn't get too attached to it because once I get home from AZ, he's going to need to get his own car. I don't share well when it comes to giving up my freedom to come and go as I please.

If he skids that thing off the road in the snow while you're gone it sounds like his best option might be to join me in Tahiti. :)
