Okay - I love tying in SK books to the dark tower, it's a sad past time I know, but stick with me here.

I have just started the mr Mercedes trilogy with kermit hodges (Kermit William Hodges) 19 letters BTW. The audio is great so far, but something just stopped me in my tracks.

Can this story be linked to Long tall and ugly ???

Afterall - Kermit is described as a retired knight.

But it's what he likes to watch that intrigued me....

He watches 'Luther' on tv - ahhhhha - now that would be a great wee twist in the tail now, wouldn't it ?

(Eldridge Elba is in it ). Ha spellcheck not me!

I meant off course Idris Elba plays Luther.

So help me out , let's see if we can link Luther to long tall through the bill hodges trilogy.

Thank yee

Just finished the last of this series "End of Watch" and I would say it definitely has some ties to DT... though they are vague. The last novel kind of skews into the paranormal way more than the first two. I don't want to ruin the novels, but there is some stuff there.
