I wonder if there is any possibility of getting an advanced copy of Stephen’s new novella. With the stay-at-home order imposed by our governor over the COVID-19 the wife is going bat-$hit crazy and has no one to take her frustrations out on but me. I know deep in my heart a new Stephen King book would sooth the savage beast. I'd consider it a humanitarian life-sustaining gesture as it will save a life... MINE! ;):)
How dare that governer try and keep you safe, HOW DARE HE! :)

Slim and none come to mind. :) They've moved up the pub date yet again, though. It's now April 21st but Jordan hasn't received the new banner from Scribner to change it on the site.

Also, you know better about trying to slip in political crap. Please don't do that again. :glare:

PPS: soothe, not sooth but forgot to fix that for you
Have you got a copy of Steve's new collection, Marsha?

In America, they hate swear words and tolerate nudity. Wheras, in Europe, the love swear words but are not all about nudity.
So they finally got rid of the topless "Sunshine girl" from The Sun?

Ooops - that was five years ago :facepalm_smiley: (Sorry I am a bit behind the times)

To return to the topic at hand -

"Manitoba currently has 96 probable and confirmed cases of COVID-19. One person has died. Four people are currently in hospital, one in ICU, and two people have recovered.

On Monday, the province announced a new public health order that closes all non-essential businesses starting Wednesday."

The Sun is a tabloid newspaper published in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. As a broadsheet, it was founded in 1964 as a successor to the Daily Herald, and became a tabloid in 1969 after it was purchased by its current owner. Wikipedia
