For those of you that are concerned about running out of paper towels- if you're using them to sop up water, don't throw them away when you're done. Just spread them out flat somewhere and let them dry out. You can use them over again. I knew a girl back in the day and her Dad did this. He grew up in the depression and never threw away anything.

Good advise . . .

I love that skit too. It's Tim he's chained to and he is so 'fabulous' in that part. I love watching Harvey crack up during the skits too . . .I like when he's dressed up like the lady! Oh let me stop . . .don't wanna get too far off topic!
Shoot, I just saw this, Char! Yes, you nailed it -- it was Tim he was chained to. I don't remember the lady skit, but I bet I'd recognize it immediately if I saw it again.

So many good laughs.

Well, yesterday I learned that under the executive order, anyone with a state issued cosmetology license or barber license is not allowed to do hair at their home, or at a customer's home. If caught doing so, the stylist can face 60 days in jail, a fine of $1,000 and permanently lose their license .
I also learned that local police departments are tasked with enforcing the order and have been given a list of all licensed salons and licensed cosmetologist and barbers in their area.

If I read correctly, self employed will be covered under the bill. That really sucks with the ex. order!!

Thanks, Spidey!
I saw that this morning. I'm still unsure how that will work on the state level, but I'm going to look into it this afternoon.

That sucks! Sorry to hear that. You'd think the government would have bigger and more pressing things to worry about. :(

Hmmm..... Special: One Roll of Toilet Paper $75 and get a free hair styling.

Latest update from Prime Minister Trudeau:

He now speaks of the G20 conference.

G20 countries must work together to help fight the virus, Trudeau says. All countries will work together to protect their respective economies and help uplift each other's economy.

Now more than ever we must work together, the prime minister says.

The police are not going to have the time to roll past the houses of all the salon owners/stylists/barbers in their neighborhoods. No way. They have bigger fish to fry. I will be praying for you, Sunny.

Anyone keeping an eye on their 401k or investment accounts?

I have heard the "smart" people say not to even look right now. But I made the executive decision to look at Scott's this morning. He is freaking out about it to the point where he is being a grumpy butt almost constantly and so I looked. (While he is sleeping for night shifts, I figured if it is awful I could stick to the "we're not looking" line. ;))

It was not great but not nearly as bad as I was expecting. So hopefully when he wakes up I can give him that news and he calms down some.
