Crazy year.Anniversary

This has been crazy so far. Not much time,but miss you all.Lost my sister to pheumonia last week.
We are having our anniversary dinner party. King theme. So much to put together yet for that. First time we have
really celebrated with ours. We got married by the county clerk,and took our money for big wedding and reception to adapt our son.
We are going to see some of our other children who we haven't seen in 15 years. Mike will hopefully be getting a huge surprize. We are working on his son coming and hopefully can get his ex to allow him to bring his children. The grandchildren Mike has never seen. Hope to check in later my friends.

We had a great anniversary. My middle daughter and her family who I had not seen in 11 years got to come. My grandson brought his fiance ,they will be getting married this October. Two of my sisters came. several others came but of course they all lived closer.

When getting the cake prepared things took a turn but we turned it into a family fixer up. My daughter baked the cake. My sister did the frosting. When the layers were put together the cake began to crack. So my son-in-law named it the earthquake cake. I stuck some skeleton hands through the cake to hold it together.Son-in-law, gave the hands a cigarette. We put mini mystery Georgie on it. My daughter put some chocolate candy on it and I put the cake topper in the big crack. We all laughed and moved on. It tasted just fine.

Everything was in a King theme. I put together some prizes. 2 horror baskets and one king basket. To win the King basket you had to get the 19 .The horror baskets were 217 and 237. They all took a fortune cookie with a King quote and a lifesaver in them. The only ones with lucky numbers were the winners. My friend from BAM win the king basket. She never really was a King fan until we became friends. Now she is heading in the right direction. Her husband and my grandsons fiance won the horror baskets.

we had a writing experience to complete things. Wouldn't be a King event without one.So everyone was asked to write anything King related. Could be to King ,about King,what they thought of my collection ,basically just anything. I had then all write these in my It journal and I will treasure this.

We had never really had any type reception or party as things kept happening so this year we decided to do something no matter what. We just regret that all of our children couldn't make it. Really wanted to have them all together.

Today is actually our anniversary. We are spending it apart.LOL Hubby had to work until 5 this morning and had to be back by 5 tonight.
